excellent quality with minimal impact. excellent output for the price. coordinates well with pioneer elite 7.1 receiver. compact speakers sound great and mount easily. recommend for the price and the quality for a complete speaker package.
I bought this Onkyo system after reading a few comparisons and ratings putting it at or near the top of Home Theater systems in this price range. The old system had fairly cheap tower speakers. I agree that this is a good reasonably priced system. I got rid of my old speaker system when I bought this one. Although the overall quality of sound is better, the new system is volume limited compared to the larger speakers. Other than total volume, I'm very happy with the purchase.
I was looking for a speaker that was small like a bose speaker, and I imagined these speakers to be a little smaller, they are about 13 inches high, and 6 inches wide. I am using them with an ONKYO 606 receiver, and they pound. I am so happy with these speakers. With a universal mount they fit perfectly on my wall. The clarity is amazing, and the sub is unreal. The price is amazing, and they look stylish. Happy customer. Amazons shipping was great too.
The speakers are about 14 - 15 inches tall and the center speaker comes with a little stand which allows you to tilt the speaker for better listening pleasure. I have these speakers connected to a Sony STR-DH800 receiver. Mounting the speakers on the wall was easy, no need for brackets and the such. The sound coming out of the speakers is crisp and clear. The sub woofer is a little on the big side, so if you have a small room you may want to find a decent sized place for it. Just 1 or 2 screws for each speaker did the trick. I'm happy with these speakers they fit exactly what I needed them for.
I cannt really speak much about the quality of any other speakers but these are keepers for what you pay. So I have had Onkyo 506, Sony 820, Onkyo 606.
GIGANTIC speakers, did not expect them to be that big. First impressions.
They just sound according to your receiver. Nice and glossy but somebody who cares for their walls to look nice, you can back off right here.
Because the quality of these speakers isnt really breath taking that you would want to give up the look of your home.Well, now the real deal with the speaker forget that they are big. They sounded the best with Onkyo 606.
If you are an advanced user, I am sure you had listened to better ones.I am just convinced for the fact that I paid only 300$ and the quality is just fine.
